Master Books offers Christian homeschool curriculum for Pre-K through high school that seeks to develop a child’s faith, from nurturing a deep love for God to helping them learn and defend biblical truth. Master Books Language Arts Curriculum
Language Lessons for a Living Education (Grades 1-11)


Language Lessons for a Living Education weaves together composition, handwriting practice, picture studies, narration, and dictation to develop oral and written communication skills. Levels are one year in length, except for Level 1, which is a one-semester course that follows Master Books’ Foundational Phonics or phonics of your choice. Additional literature is required. Supplemental handwriting courses are available. Mastery of handwriting is taught with one book for either manuscript or cursive. Grade 12 is coming Summer 2026.

Writing Strands (Grades 5-10)


Writing Strands offers a skill-based, creative writing program for middle grade students and older. Grammar is taught “as you go” through the writing exercises, rather than systematically. Bible passages are used as the primary resource for the literary analysis lessons. Parents are also expected to select additional literature at all levels.

Master Books Math Curriculum
Math Lessons for a Living Education (Grades K-6)


Math Lessons for a Living Education integrates mathematical concepts into everyday situations using copy work, narration, and hands-on learning. For Levels K-5, an All-in-One Coursebook includes the daily schedule, teacher information, and student pages. Level 6 is divided into two books: a Teacher Guide and Student Book. Math Lessons for a Living Education: Level 6 Teacher’s Guide includes the weekly lesson schedule, quizzes, and the solutions manual. Optional helpful resources include flashcards, Practice Makes Perfect books, and the Math Lessons for a Living Education Teaching Companion.

Principles of Mathematics (Grades 7-9)


Using a biblical lens, Principles of Mathematics covers arithmetic, pre-algebra, and application of math concepts, and strengthens critical thinking skills. Each book is a one-year course created for middle school; however, high school students may use the course following the included accelerated schedule. A Teacher Guide with Student Worksheets and the Student Text are required for each course. Suggested math tools support multisensory learning.

Master Books High School Math
Offering comprehensive one-year, one-credit high school math courses, the Master Books high school courses emphasize real life readiness and college preparation.


Jacobs’ Math (Grades 9-12)


Jacobs’ Elementary Algebra and Jacobs’ Geometry courses use real world examples that prepare students to apply what they learn to real-life situations as well as other academic subjects. Although it ia a bit of a misnomer, Jacobs’ Elementary Algebra is the equivalent of Algebra 1. Jacobs’ Geometry stresses logic and deductive reasoning along with clear explanations of all geometric concepts.

- Time-tested for nearly forty years, Jacobs’ math series has a proven track record with student success

Principles of Algebra 2 (9-12)


Principles of Algebra 2 prepares students for Pre-Calculus or a college-level Algebra course. Students should have completed Algebra 1 and Geometry prior to taking the course. Topics covered include exponents, rational/irrational numbers, complex and imaginary numbers, roots, inequalities, functions, logarithms, and more. Requires TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus (or online) calculator, and graph paper.

Consumer Math (Grades 9-12)


Consumer Math at the high school level teaches students an impressive list of practical and relevant topics. Scripture, application of math principles, and case studies are all integral to the course. After completing the Consumer Math curriculum, your student will be able to apply basic math skills to a variety of life situations. Help your student prepare for all the challenges that they will face as an adult with this program.

Master Books Science Curriculum
Let’s Talk Science (Grades K-4)


Let’s Talk Science offers a GENTLE™ approach to elementary science that focuses on creation and God’s world. The lessons are interactive, hands-on, and biblically based. Memory verses with hand motions, parent-child discussions, and building a science notebook to share are key to student learning. The Course Books include both teacher and student resources. Student sheets include textual information, stories, coloring/drawing pages, and other activities. The Teacher section provides a course overview, objectives, materials lists, tips, and the weekly schedule. You will need to provide some household items for the activities.

God’s Design Science (Grades K-8)


Colorfully illustrated and engagingly written, God’s Design Science is divided into two levels: Beginners for K-2 and God’s Design for grades 3-8. Along with developmentally aligned activities, the Beginners Text includes teaching notes, readings, activities, supply lists, and tips for using the course alongside God’s Design. For grades 3-8, the God’s Design course requires two books for one year of study: the Student Text and the corresponding Teacher Guide with student worksheets. Hands-on activities and experiments help students understand the connection between science and biblical creation. Minimal preparation is needed; most activities require items that are easy to find. Optional Lab Kits are available.

Master Books High School Science (Grades 9-12)


Master Books High School Science has a wide array of user-friendly science courses to meet the needs of individual learners and families. Whether you choose to learn more about origins and paleontology through Life Science: Origins and Scientific Theory or cast your eyes upwards with the Survey of Astronomy or Intro to Astrophysics, there are options to engage your learner. Other options include a good, no-yuck study of the human body, Wonders of the Human Body, or a biblically based study of forensics and the criminal justice system in the Intro to Forensic Science. College preparatory lab-based science curricula are available through the Master’s Class High School Science.

Master Books History & Geography Curriculum
My Story (Grades K-2)


My Story is an adventure-based curriculum that helps children understand history, politics, economics, sociology, and geography through four nine-week quests. The All-in-One Course Book provides the teacher with the information to use the course successfully. Uniquely, the kindergarten level includes helpful developmental mile markers, and all levels are built around the 8 areas of intelligence. Narration, copywork, vocabulary, pencil and paper activities, and other developmentally appropriate activities are integrated.

The World’s Story is an engaging survey of civilizations and cultures from creation through the modern age. Student Texts feature a conversational historical narrative, full color and black-and-white illustrations, and biographical sketches. Easy to use, the Teacher Guide provides the suggested schedule, student worksheets and activities, review pages, and answer keys. It also contains recommended resources and optional supplies to enrich the learning experience.

A Child’s Geography (Grades 4-8)


A Child’s Geography is an engaging journey that begins with physical geography then explores individual continents and countries to introduce children to diverse cultures and people groups. The All-in-One Course Book features an engaging narrative text, full-color photographs, maps, recipes, activities, and helpful teacher resources, like a suggested schedule, supply lists, answers, and more. Suggested art and recipe supplies are listed in each volume.

Master Books Bible Curriculum
Where Faith Grows (Grades 1-3)


Where Faith Grows helps children build a strong foundation in who God is and how He works in our lives. Each All-in-One Course Book includes student readings and activities, weekly memory verses, and hymns to learn. It also includes a suggested schedule, lesson-by-lesson supply list, hymn list, Scripture verses, journal pages, and more. Families should complete Level 1 prior to Level 2, as Level 2 builds on Level 1. Level 2 also introduces children to basic Bible skills and keeping a prayer journal. Additional resources are required.

Foundations Homeschool Elective Courses (Grades 7-12)


Foundations Homeschool Elective Courses teach the primary doctrines that all Christians believe (Faith) and connect the hymns we sing at church to Scripture (Worship). Considered electives, the Foundations Courses nurture faith and equip teens for life. Each Foundations course requires the All-in-One Text and a Bible. Additional resources are suggested/recommended.
