Category Description for Intro to Pre-Med

Written from a biblical worldview, Intro to Pre-Med Studies from Master Books gives interested high schoolers an introduction to essential life science and human anatomy, germs, and the history of medicine. There are four required texts: Exploring the History of Medicine, Genesis of Germs, Body by Design, and Building Blocks in Life Science. One book is studied each quarter with students reading and responding to related questions. Each quarter concludes with a comprehensive exam. Components are sold separately or in a set with the Teacher Guide and four required books. Please note, no labs are included in this overview study. Families wanting to add a lab component may be interested in one of the following: Bacteria Growing Kit, Genetics and DNA Lab, or the Medical Science Kit. Intro to Pre-Med Studies would make an excellent introduction to a more traditional biology course like Master’s Biology or Discovering Design with Biology.
