Apologia Curriculum
Apologia curriculum is written from a biblical worldview with homeschool families in mind. Each course is multisensory and retention is solidified with a personal record of learning through a variety of notebooking activities or hands-on projects. Exploring Creation with Science (Grades K-12) and Exploring Creation with Mathematics (Grades 1-6) curricula are user-friendly, offering a conversational and engaging lesson for students and low teacher prep for parents. Hands-on activities are essential to all of the courses. The activities are convenient to do at home and primarily use household or easy-to-find items. The high school Apologia Science courses require traditional lab equipment, but great effort has been made to keep it all affordable! Apologia’s Bible curriculum enriches the Christian homeschool experience through a complete study of the Old and New Testaments and can be used anytime during the elementary and middle school grades. Apologia also offers comprehensive Christian Worldview curriculum designed for upper-elementary and middle school students.

Apologia Science Curriculum
Exploring Creation with Science (Grades K-6)


Organizing every lesson around narration, notebook exercises, and an activity or project, Apologia’s Exploring Creation elementary science curriculum immerses children into a single topic throughout the year. Written for K-6 learners, the texts work well for combining instruction at the elementary levels. Students will complete a personal learning record by completing work in the companion Notebooking Journal or in their own notebook. Hands-on activities primarily use household items. Lab kits from Nature’s Workshop Plus offer a convenient and oranized source for many of the materials used with the activities.

Exploring Creation with Science (Grades 7-12)


Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Science courses for junior and senior high school are user-friendly, student-led, and college preparatory. Most courses consist of a Student Text, Solution Manual, and Test Booklet. Students will also need to keep a course notebook or the Student Notebook for their written work. Student Texts include student readings, lab instructions, comprehension questions (with answers), and chapter study guide questions. The optional Student Notebooks provide lesson schedules and space to answer questions and record labs. Labs are integral to the course. Lab kits from Nature's Workshop Plus provide the supplies and materials that you'll need, helping you save time and stay organized.

Apologia Mathematics Curriculum
Exploring Creation with Mathematics (Grades 1-6)


Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Mathematics is a creation-based, hands-on approach to math education. Conversational lessons are presented in progression: problem, pictorial presentation, abstract presentation, and application activity. Interactive daily lessons take 30-45 minutes, with high parent involvement in the lower grades. Involvement lessens through the levels. End-of-unit projects assess understanding and build math confidence, not math anxiety! Levels 5 and 6 include optional tests for families wanting traditional assessments. Math manipulatives and household items are required.

Apologia Bible Curriculum
The Word in Motion (Grades K-6)


The Word in Motion is a two-year, two volume program that provides an overview of the people, the stories, and the books of the Old and New Testament through multisensory activities. Learning thematic key words, scripture memorization, and prayer are included. The Word in Motion courses are one year each and include streaming videos, text lessons, and personal notebooking activities. There are two components: the Textbook and the Notebooking Journal, which are both required.
Key Curriculum Features:
- Two-year complete study of the Old and New Testaments
- Parents will appreciate how easy the course is to use. Children will like the vibrantly illustrated text and multisensory lessons
- Immerses children in the story of God and His people

What We Believe Series (Grades 4-8)


The What We Believe series from Apologia is a four year, four volume, comprehensive and engaging worldview curriculum. It gives students a deep understanding of foundational truths about God, themselves, and the purpose for which they were created. Each volume uses age-appropriate stories, real-life examples, and thought-provoking questions to help students apply biblical truths to their lives. Students are encouraged to record their spiritual journey in a blank journal or in the optional Notebooking Journal. Families using What We Believe that have younger children should consider the Junior Notebooking Journal.

- Teaches students how to evaluate the world using God's Word as the standard
- Courses can be completed in one year each with the suggested three-day-per-week schedule provided in the Notebooking Journals
- Engaging, colorful text is written in a conversational tone
