Description

This beginner workbook series from Teacher Created Resources is a simple place to start a child who is showing an interest in learning. Maybe they just want to “do school” like their siblings but aren’t quite at the point to dive into a reading or math curriculum. The pages are inviting, with friendly instructions in black and white. Try to complete a page a day and build up a routine.

Pencil control is about writing readiness—learning to hold a pencil and make it follow straight lines and curves. You will see an arrow guiding your pencil line as you practice numbers. First you practice tracing shaded numbers, then write them on your own. The line spacing is 2cm with dotted half lines. Cute illustrations show something to count—4 turtles, 2 backpacks, 7 manatees, etc.

Learn about odd and even numbers, before and after, easy addition and subtraction, more and less, and more! For ages 4+.  ~Sara
