Following the Genesis 1 (verse 30) pattern, land animals are separated into three categories to study: wild animals, livestock, and crawling creatures. The beautifully illustrated Textbook provides 14 lessons. While no schedule is included in the textbook, the author anticipates lessons taking about 2 weeks to complete. (For those wanting a predetermined schedule, there is one found in the optional Notebooking Journal). Within the Textbook are all the lesson readings and related activities, What Do You Remember? comprehension questions, lesson supply lists for activities, and the answers to the comprehension questions. Numerous household or easily found items are needed to complete the hands-on activities. Students will need a notebook (3-ring with looseleaf paper or spiral bound) or the optional Notebooking Journal to record their learning. There are no tests at this level.
