The Chemistry for the Grammar Stage Teacher's Guide holds everything you need to know to introduce chemistry to elementary students. Scripted weekly scientific demonstrations, reading assignments, memory work, supplies list, and optional library and project suggestions. Beginning with an introduction to the approach: Read, Do, and Write about Science, the Teacher Guide includes the materials list, unit overviews, lesson plans (5-day or 2-day schedules), materials lists, resource lists, optional projects and readings, and answers for the optional weekly review sheets. Rather than being overwhelming, the Teacher Guide is well-organized and easy to follow for novice or experienced homeschool teachers. An appendix includes reproducible templates to create your own 2-day and 5-day schedule (if desired), a project record sheet, and a treasure hunt. But this is just the tip of the iceberg for the student! Chemistry for the Grammar Student Workbook is required, and becomes a complete, personalized record of student work.
