Priest covers the beginning of Benaiah’s coming of age and his learning to lean on the understanding of God to guide his decisions and heart. In this story, he is faced with choosing between his loyalty to the current king and the one who has just received God’s anointing. Warrior picks up Benaiah’s story as David officially takes the throne and battles rage throughout the land of Israel. King David leans on Benaiah as his warrior. Book 3, General, will pick up as the throne of Israel is passed to Solomon, as in the biblical story. Book 3 will be coming soon!
