Jolly Literacy (Formerly Jolly Grammar)

Description

Boring grammar? Uninspired spelling? Mundane writing assignments? No more! Jolly Literacy (formerly Jolly Grammar) has a new look with some great changes! Spelling, Grammar, and Punctuation books retain the same content, but a new reading comprehension and creative writing book has been added to the series! This change is only for Grade 1 in 2025 with Grades 2–6 to follow.

Clever, colorful graphics and teaching icons guide students through an impressive array of language arts skills. In Grade 1, lessons cover grammar, spelling, reading comprehension, and writing skills/lessons. Students will enjoy reading a variety of texts that interweave spelling, vocabulary, and grammar learned earlier in the week.

Teacher Books provide general teaching ideas, daily lesson plans, reduced copies of student pages, and answer keys. Continuous review aids in retention. SG & P Student Books provide weekly spelling and grammar worksheets that feature a variety of activities. Reading Comprehension Student Books pro­vide reading texts, comprehension questions, and activities. Writing Workbooks include writing lessons and prompts to encourage students in their writing.
