Great Christian Stories Literature Curriculum (Grades 6+)

Description

Generations Reading for Middle School: Great Christian Stories Literature Curriculum takes a more independent approach compared to the elementary levels. There is a quick parent information section in the workbook, but the program is designed to be done independently by the student. Parents, you come in on the back end to grade exams, worksheets, and papers, but don’t worry, a grading rubric is provided. Students will read 3-4 full-text literature selections as they follow along in their workbook, completing chapter assignments, essays, and comprehension exams. This series is designed for middle school students and has an intended grade level sequence:

  • Great Christian Stories for Children (grade 6)
  • Great Christian Adventures (grade 7)
  • Great Christian Stories (grade 8)
  • For advanced 7th-8th grade readers, you many opt for the Great Christian Classics Volume 1

Note that the Student Workbook will be specific to the Generations Timeless Classics editions of literature and other editions may not correlate perfectly. ~Rebecca

Teaching Method
Traditional
