Publisher's Description of Charlotte Mason Elementary Arithmetic Book 6 with Practical Geometry 1 and Grid Notebook
You and your student are sure to enjoy these natural, lively elementary math lessons that build confidence in mathematical thinking and help your student advance in understanding decimals, fractions, ratios, and percentages.

With Book 6, the recommended schedule is four days per week. For the fifth day, a hands-on geometry lesson should be completed from Charlotte Mason Practical Geometry, Part 2. These weekly geometry lessons give the student experience with mathematical tools such as a compass and protractor and guide the student in understanding foundational ideas in geometry. This hands-on approach develops the student’s comfort with the mechanics of tools, drawings, and geometrical concepts before formal geometry and proofs are introduced. We suggest that 6th grade students work on arithmetic Monday through Thursday, with Friday reserved for practical geometry.
