All Write from Thoughtful Learning helps
middle school students catch up and move ahead, whether filling gaps before
high school or teaching an ESL/ELL learner. The course assumes the student has
had little instruction in the writing process and forms of writing. The course
teaches foundational concepts using simplified language, making it user-friendly
for all learners. It also provides clear guidelines, models, checklists,
illustrations, and tips. The All Write Student Handbook
is used in grades 6-8 and includes units and lessons that build from basic to
more advanced throughout the year. In addition, the free Digital
Teacher Guide provides a weekly schedule, activity worksheets and handouts,
guidelines for writing assessments, and more; it also incorporates practice
from the All Write
SkillsBook (Teacher
Answer Key sold separately). For students needing more practice, the Digital
Teacher Guide includes suggestions from the Write on Course 20-20 SkillsBooks for
Grade 6, Grade 7, and Grade 8. SkillsBooks are
an optional add-on that teach punctuation, grammar, mechanics, usage, and
spelling. Sold separately, the grade-level Teacher Guides contain answers only.
We also offer an All
Write Package that contains the All Write Student Handbook,
SkillsBook, and SkillsBook Teacher Guide
(answers only).
