All About Math Level 5 Teacher’s Manual provides 46 scripted lessons for parents to guide students through the math concepts. Each lesson has 5 parts: Before You Begin, Review, New Teaching, Extended Practice, and Calina’s Math Fun. Before You Begin gives you an overview and lists the items you need for the lesson. The Review section reviews previously learned concepts. New Teaching is the hands-on part of the lesson where the parent guides the student through new concepts. Activity sheets are used to practice these concepts and students are also encouraged to orally express their understanding. Extended Practice are optional activities to develop math fluency. Calina’s Math Fun provides additional games and activities meant to be played multiple times to reinforce skills. The Appendices include extra resources that are helpful for you to get the most out of the lessons.
