The scope and sequence of the 36 lessons follows the title: the first section has lessons for the student to record what they learn about their home state. In the next section your student explores the geography and regions of the United States. The text provides helpful links (QR Codes) to begin their research, but other reference books would be helpful to complete those assignments. The last section focuses on government (from federal to local) and our responsibilities as citizens. In the appendix, students complete a prayer calendar project.
