- Comparisons with percent were removed completely
- Chapter 2: Order of operations is now part of the lesson on dividing integers
- Chapter 4: Repeating decimals now has its own lesson, and there is a more comprehensive coverage of types of calculations with rational numbers
- Chapter 5: Now also covers inequalities where you need to divide by a negative number, and covers equations with fractions in 2 lessons
- Chapter 6: Proportional relationships and scale drawings covered in more detail
- Chapter 8: Covers angle relationships and drawing triangles with specific conditions in a more detailed, comprehensive manner
