Description

The Teacher Guide includes notes, schedules, and all the workbook pages your student will need. At the back is an answer key. Pages are perforated and 3-hole-punched for easy use in a binder. Like the student text, the bottom of each page lists the corresponding Lesson and Day number, which makes this curriculum very open-and-go. The workbook pages for each lesson include fill-in-the blank questions, multiple choice, filling out charts, and doing sample calculations. One unique feature is the “Scripture Sleuth” questions, which encourages students to look up Bible verses and connect them to the lesson.

At the end of each 2-week lesson is a short review page, and there is also a corresponding quiz for each lesson at the back of the book. There are also quarterly exams. Questions include not just math calculations, but also “grasping the heart” questions that relate to the why of financial decisions. In the back of the Teacher Guide are resources and templates that can be copied for future use: budgeting worksheets, transaction templates, and a reference sheet for calculating taxes. ~Tara
