The God Made Animals Textbook introduces middle school students to science from a biblical worldview by focusing on God’s handiwork in creation and man’s dominion over creation. Topically, students will learn about the six kingdoms, invertebrates, birds, aquatic animals, amphibians and reptiles, and mammals. Scripture is woven throughout the 16 chapters, with prayers of praise and hymns found at the end of each chapter. The chapters also conclude with recommended online videos to watch (link to publisher’s site to view included). Most chapters also include a list of activities to choose from that help students apply what they have learned. In the Generations curriculum sequence, this course follows the elementary God Made Me, however, the content is appropriate for 4th through 6th grade learners. The softcover Student Text is a smaller format (9.25” x 7.25”) with 283 pages. NKJV Bible is used. The course also requires the God Made Animals Student Workbook and items for the chosen activities. Most items are easy to find, although some (if chosen) may be more difficult to find (i.e.; snake to dissect). Sold separately or in a Set with the Student Textbook.

Description
For the fourth grade student, Generations introduces a biblical
worldview into the field of science in the most winsome way possible.
Captured in this introduction to animal biology are the most amazing
facts and the most interesting facets of God's creation. The course is
filled with Scripture and with a sense of wonder and praise, which is
only fitting for a Christian child's education. Prayers of praise and
hymns play an important part in the course. Critical elements of the
biblical worldview in the scientific field are laid out, to counter the
false view of science that has become increasingly destructive in the
present day.
Included in this course are the world of vertebrates, invertebrates,
warm-blooded animals, cold-blooded animals, insects, the bombadier
beetle, the butterfly, the spider, the mosquito, the dung beetle, the
house fly, the silkworm, grasshoppers, the honeybee, the leech, the
octopus, the jellyfish, the penguin, the chicken, the crow, the pigeon,
and more!
This course also covers basic genetics, basic taxonomy, the basics of bird flight, animal domestication, and real life science application opportunities for the student. The student is introduced to man's responsibility to take dominion over insects, birds, fish, and domesticated animals, as one of the most critical elements of science from a biblical perspective.
God Made Animals from Generations is an engaging zoology course taught from a Biblical worldview. Following a typical school schedule of 5 days per week through 36 weeks, upper elementary and middle school students are introduced to what understanding science from a biblical worldview means, various types of animals, creation and dominion, and are guided to praise God through prayer and song. Hands-on activities and online videos are included. There are two printed components for the yearlong course: the God Made Animals Text and the God Made Animals Student Workbook. Sold separately or in a convenient Set.
