It begins with the Anglo-Saxons and excerpts of Beowulf and The Canterbury Tales in the Medieval period. The study then moves to the Elizabethan age with Shakespeare’s sonnets and the full text of The Tragedy of Macbeth. March through the centuries of frequent upheaval during the Age of Reason with sonnets, essays, an excerpt from Gulliver’s Travels, and more.
