The fifth edition has refreshed the materials and provides more opportunities for critical thinking and application of skills. It introduces more advanced topics like decimals, dividing fractions, and more pre-algebra concepts earlier than the 4th edition. The book layout is different in that the back of the book now holds a handbook, additional practice pages, and a homework section for daily lessons. Now you can choose whether your student needs more practice outside of the daily lesson.
