Description

My Path to Purity Audio Files is a necessary part of the program and accompany both the Boys’ and Girls’ Trail Guides and Parent Trail Guide. The audio story introduces the topic for each of the 12 chapters and also includes the audio discussion that comes later in the chapter. The audio discussion dives deeper into the topic and can address issues that a parent may find hard to cover. The discussion is optional, so a parent can use the audio to listen together with their child or listen to it alone for guidance on how to lead the discussion themself. I really like how this brings in an outside element for discussion! After you purchase this, orders are processed within 1-2 business days at which time you will receive an email with activation instructions. ~Amber

My Path to Purity is a Christ centered program that empowers parents to confidently prepare their pre-teens and teens to handle the important decisions they will encounter in the coming years. Recognizing that these conversations can feel overwhelming, the series provides biblically structured guidance that helps families build a strong moral foundation rooted in God’s Word. The author encourages this to be a weekend experience with parent and teen (girls with mothers; boys with fathers), though you could adjust it to meet the needs of your family. The goal is that the parent is the one who teaches these truths before the teen starts picking up information from their peers or other influences. It is a part of “training up a child in the way he should go.”

Inspired by Pilgrim’s Progress, the program invites both parent and student to journey toward the King’s Castle – symbolizing a life led by Christ. Along the way, families are encouraged into meaningful conversations, deeper spiritual connection, and memorable moments that strengthen their walk with God. As students advance through the story, they encounter faith-building lessons that shape character, nurture wisdom, and point their hearts toward the true King. Scripture taken from the NKJV

There is a total of 12 sessions divided into three parts – Preparation, Pitfalls, and Promises. Each teen will need their own Trail Guide which acts as a journal. There is one for the Boys and one for the Girls and they include questions, discussion prompts, activities, faith challenges, Bible promise scriptures, and a closing prayer. The Parents’ Trail Guide contains all the information for both the Girls’ Trail Guide and Guy’s Trail Guide and has additional resources not found in the Child Trail Guides. The activity supply list for each chapter is included in each chapter and in the appendix in the back so the parent can be ready for each session. Also in the back is an expanded discussion on Session 6 on puberty. It goes a little deeper into the changes that will happen during this time for both the Girls and Boys. Audio recordings are necessary and available as USB or download. They introduce the main topic of each session and provide audio discussion at the end. The twelve sessions deal with the following topics:

Part 1 - Preparation

  • Session 1 – Teens relationship with God
  • Session 2 – Spiritual survival gear and how to use it
  • Session 3 – Teens relationship with their parents
  • Session 4 – Friendships and peer pressure
  • Session 5 – The King loves them unconditionally
  • Session 6 – Puberty and changes that will happen

Part 2 - Pitfalls

  • Session 7 – Difference between infatuation and real love
  • Session 8 – Modesty, pornography, and masturbation
  • Session 9 – Gender confusion and sexual identity
  • Session 10 – Dangers of pre-marital sex

These resources will equip parents to host a weekend getaway! ~Amber
