These DIGITAL Latin Grammar Recitation Flashcards from Memoria Press can be used to review all the grammar in the Forms series. The recitations are grammatical, covering personal & tense endings, 1st conjugation, 2nd conjugation, the to be verb, nouns (all 5 declensions), and adjectives.

Digital flashcards through the Memoria Press App have an added advantage over their physical counterparts: the App can track your student’s progress and sort the cards into Not Known, Hesitant, and Mastered. A timer feature is also available. Each deck can only track the progress of one student. These digital flashcards are only available on the Memoria Press App (on the App Store or Google Play) through your Memoria Press account. First, Second, Third, and Fourth Form Latin com­prise this mastery-based Latin program from Memoria Press.

The Student Text provides concise, 2-page lessons with a consistent for­mat: a Latin saying, grammar forms and les­sons, vocabulary, syntax, and review. Student Text also includes historical notes and photos of current scenes and artifacts. The corre­sponding Workbook has 4-6 pages of exercises and well-designed drills that guide the student and teacher through the lesson.

The Teacher Manual is a wrap-around text that includes a scripted lesson and grammar “chalk-talk.” It also contains suggestions for incorporat­ing the Lingua Angelica and Famous Men of Rome. Appendices include Latin conver­sations, prayers and sayings, and a gram­mar reference. Games and review activities complete the offering. Teacher prep is also spelled out very well: read and reread the teaching guidelines for each lesson, read and reread the student text and teacher manual, and do all workbook exercises. The assumption is that the teacher does not know Latin and is therefore learning along with the student, staying one complete lesson ahead in terms of prep.
