There are 16 modules, each taking approximately 2 weeks (1 hour per day/5 days per week.), exams follow each module and quarterly exams are also included. Three types of lab exercises are included: Household, microscopic, and dissections. Required lab equipment includes a 400x microscope, concave and flat slides, prepared slide set sold separately, dissection tools and specimens. Lab Kits are available. The publisher recommends all three types of lab exercises for a science lab credit.
