Description

The Math-U-See Pre-Algebra Online Instruction with Video provides lifetime access to streaming instruction videos, an online instruction manual, lesson solutions, and other online resources. This also includes the Math-U-See virtual manipulatives. 

Please note: Digital access to the Math-U-See instructional videos is in transition. As of June 15th, 2026, the Digital Toolbox one-time, level specific online instruction with video is no longer available. The online component (available separately or in the curriculum packages) is now sold as the Individual Essential Plan Annual Access Card, which is redeemable for a one-year subscription to the Essential Plan. If you purchase the Lifetime Access Digital Toolbox prior to this date, it will continue to be available.

Required, but not included, are the Math-U-See Pre-Algebra Instruction Manual, Pre-Algebra Student Workbook and Tests, the Integer Block Kit, and the Algebra Decimal Insert Kit. You will receive an activation email in 24 to 48 hours. The Math-U-See Pre-Algebra Online Instruction with Video is also available in two convenient sets: Math-U-See Pre-Algebra Set, which includes the required Integer Block Kit and Algebra Decimal Insert Kit, or the Math-U-See Pre-Algebra Set (no Blocks, no Algebra Decimal Inserts) for families who already own the required manipulatives.

Category Description for Math-U-See Pre-Algebra

Basic pre-algebra concepts including negative numbers, exponents, factoring, and ratios. Includes rules of solving equations using the associative, commutative, and other properties; simple operations with polynomials. Also covers geometry concepts of surface area, volume and Pythagorean theorem. 

Lessons follow a similar format – watch the DVD lesson, work through lesson examples in the instruction manual together, and complete worksheets. Lessons conclude with a test. Cumulative unit tests are scheduled regularly to assure students retain previous teaching. A final test over all concepts taught concludes the course.
