Description

Let this small game take up room in your heart as you join Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Christopher Robin, Piglet, and many more friends and special locations while playing this special edition Hundred Acre Wood Fluxx Game from Looney Labs. As per the special “meta” rule, if everyone agrees, players can keep stuffed animals from home with them during the game in the role of “observers” and friends to their primary human companions. All other rules are the same as other Fluxx game editions, which are draw one card, play one card, until new rule cards come into play!

There are so many wonderful goals with endearing characters and locations to match that can give you the same warm fuzzies you might have had when someone read Winnie the Pooh to you as a child. Good thing you have your plushie beside you for those moments. Although I was chased by bees and visited Pooh’s house and got stuck in a Doorway, my favorite part of the game was winning with the “Where the Woozle Wasn’t” goal when I collected the Piglet and Hundred Acre Wood cards! For 1-6 players with a 10–30-minute game time. Includes rules for solo players. ~ Marsha

Will Winnie get stuck in Rabbit’s doorway again? (Yes, of course!) Will Eeyore find his tail? (Yes, of course!) Will Piglet catch a Heffalump or a Woozle? (No, you silly old bear, those don’t exist!) And now, for the first time, this version of Fluxx Includes special new rules designed to allow stuffed animal friends to join in the game!

Category Description for FLUXX Games

This is a truly chaotic game for the whole family! The entire deck is shuffled and players are dealt 3 cards each. The game begins with only a couple of basic rules, but new rules can be played and goals changed. There are four types of cards in Fluxx: Keepers, Goals, Actions, and New Rules. Keepers are the core of the game and are used to fulfill the current Goal (such as playing a certain combination of Keepers). Actions often affect one player, but can force everyone to draw cards, play cards, and even change the rules! Finally, New Rules add a whole new level of chaos by mandating how the game is played. During each turn, players draw and play as many cards as dictated by the current rules, striving to complete the current goal. But as you may have guessed, this is easier said than done; rules and goals are constantly in flux, requiring luck and timing to achieve victory!

Different versions of Fluxx maintain the basic game play and mainly change Keepers and Goals (for example, Math Fluxx has number cards as Keepers, with the goal of playing the number of your current age, the current date, or other specific numbers). 2-6 players; 5-30 minutes.

Delighting families for 100 years, A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh is a collection of charming stories about a lovable stuffed bear, a young boy, and their many friends! As children, and then again as parents introducing our own children, we went with Winnie to the “Hundred Acre Wood,” and we would be remiss to not take a unit study “Expotition” celebrating this classic children’s story—no matter your age. With childhood themes of cherished companions, memorable conversations, adventures, and melodic “hums” (or ditties), Milne provided endearing stories for the generations.
