The Phonetic Zoo from the Institute for Excellence in
Writing (IEW) is a unique, self-paced spelling program based on Anna Ingham’s Blended
Sound-Sight Program of Learning. Built on the principle that children learn

Students listen to clear audio recordings of words and
memorable jingles, take self-administered spelling tests, and correct their own
