The words to each song are printed
both in the Student Edition and the Teacher’s Edition.
Songs include a mix of
Spanish and English. You’ll recognize some familiar children’s tunes, such
as “Where is Thumbkin?” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” A
digital version of just
the songs is available without the student book.
The Student Edition is
a consumable worktext and includes the songs accessed digitally (newer version).
The Teacher Edition is
identical to the Student Edition (no songs) with answers filled in and teacher’s
notes inserted as shaded boxes.
Instructional Videos for
each course contain ten-minute episodes—one for each lesson in the book
covering new material. These are available as DVDs now and will
eventually be available digitally. Each episode features vocabulary practice,
grammar lessons, and coverage of derivatives. Your student can listen to a
native Spanish speaker, which is wonderful for their pronunciation, a lovely
lady who is smiley and encouraging. She speaks clearly and slowly with pauses
for your child to repeat the words.
Spanish Amigo Match Flashcard
Game adds vocabulary practice in a fun, hands-on way. With over 200
cards, use this set to play the suggested games like Memory or Go
Fish, or simply as traditional flashcards.
