Spectrum Reading workbooks provide extra reading comprehension practice you can easily add to your ELA program. Grade 2 has different themes than the grade 3+ books, including language arts practice, literature, informational text, real-world reading. At this grade level, students are expected to read paragraphs and respond by circling the correct answer and writing one-word answers or simple sentences.
Some example reading selections: contractions, a Paul Bunyan tale, Ant and the Grasshopper, family game night, bridges, growing corn, jobs in a restaurant, and a thank you letter to a teacher.
