Product Description:

How much do you know about America? This family board game contains 2,520 questions about the land of the free, printed on 360 cards. Each card is double-sided, with easier questions for the younger crowd on one side, and harder questions for the older folks on the other. The goal is to get your pawn from sea to shining sea all players start on the east coast and move west with every correctly answered question. A spinner determines which category you'll answer on your turn (Geography, History, and General on one side, with the addition of Art on the harder side), and you need to get twelve right before anyone else. So what's the state sport of Alaska? 2-6 players. Please note that this is the revised edition of the previously-published All American Trivia game by the same supplier. ~ Mark

Category Description for All American Trivia Games:

Test everyone's knowledge of American history, geography, and general trivia knowledge! As players move around the board square by square, landing on either a history, geography, or general knowledge space, they are asked a question from that category. If they answer correctly, they advance. In the review copy we have (which is the Junior Edition), geography questions may include states/capitals questions, questions about cities, landmarks, and where cities or landmarks might be found. History questions run the gamut from important dates, famous events, wars, and other general history questions from any period in U.S. history. General questions may include questions about famous authors, sports teams, entertainers, animals of the U.S., documents, and much more. "Uncle Sam" spaces are interspersed around the board as well, and function much the same way as "Chance" cards in Monopoly. These cards can cause the player to miss a turn, or move forward more spaces. Competition is sure to be fierce, with no die to roll, a pretty even distribution of question types, and even Uncle Sam cards offering limited spaces to advance! - Jess

A fun game for adults and kids
This trivia game is fast-paced and a lot of fun. While not necessarily the toughest questions there are enough hard ones to keep the game interesting. Also, the game also includes a kid's version which is a great way for kids to learn about American history and geography.

So much to learn
So far we have played this once since purchasing it for Christmas. Purchased this thinking it would be a great addition to our Homeschooling. It has not disappointed There is a ton of Facts in all the Trivia Cards. I think we could play this for a long time before we will tire of this game.
