Category Description for Projector Domes:

Make bath time and bedtime astronomically more fun with these 2 ½" projector domes. Place the colored dome in the bathtub or a bowl of water to activate the sensor on the bottom and project a colorful image of the moon, a galaxy, or a planet onto the ceiling. The projection will last for about 3 hours before the CR1025 battery (included) will need to be replaced.

My son, who has Autism, loves looking at the stars in God's sky at night. Since his communication with us is somewhat limited, we often use visual ways of learning or visual aids that encourage more interest in things that we are teaching him. We think that he will really enjoy this at night when he is going to sleep and at other times.

Does this adjust to be a date accurate projection of the constellations?
Martha L on Jun 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: From the publisher: “It does not. The projection is a static image.”

Dissapointed
This was not as nice as I had expected. It does not show up well, somewhat dim and very small. Difficult to see the distinction between things because the details were so small and compacted. For visually impaired it will be difficult to define the different images.
