Utilizing a narrative style, this 2nd edition
series of Story of the World guides you and your student through a
chronological story of history. Each level consists of the Student Text,
Activity Book and Test Booklet. The Student Text provides a base of
knowledge for the specific historical period. This edition’s Activity Book provides
the student activities and the teacher resources needed (including lists
of supplemental resources, additional activities and more). Students will
engage with content using narration, dictation, mapwork, hands-on activities
and more. Consumable Tests are available. This 2nd edition does strongly
recommend a supplemental reference book: Kingfisher History Encyclopedia,
Usborne Book of World History, or Usborne Internet-linked Encyclopedia of World
History. Convenience packages and Audiobook CDs are also available. The 2nd
edition is not compatible with the newer 25th Anniversary edition.
