Can I apply my state sales tax exemption to my order?

We can apply your state sales tax exemption to your order. There are two options:

1. Place your order online and include in the comments section that you have a state sales tax exemption which needs to be applied. You will be charged for that tax at the time your order is placed. Email you state sales tax exemption certificate to info@rainbowresource.com. and reference your online order #. Your taxes will then be refunded back to the payment type that you used online.

2. If you can wait for a short time before placing your order, or if you cannot have taxes included in charges on your credit card, set up an account on our website and then send an email to info@rainbowresource.com. requesting that your online account be converted to a sales tax exempt account. In the email that you send, you will need to specify the email address that is used to login to your online account and you will need to attach a copy of your state sales tax exempt certificate. Your account should be converted to an exempt account within 1 week (excluding weekend hours).

3.  If your state is having a tax free weekend – you will be charged taxes. After placing your order please email a copy of the state’s tax free weekend exemptions showing the dates for this year along with your order number.  We will review the exempt qualifications against your order and refund as appropriate for the taxes that were paid.
