Not Consumed Ministries offers a perfect place to start when
developing your family devotional routine with many Not Consumed Bible
Studies to choose from. We all may desire to spend time in the Word
together as a family, but establishing that habit and knowing how to cater to
everyone in your family can be a struggle. Each unit study is designed to help
families get into the Word of God together, studying and reflecting in an
age-appropriate way and then coming back together for a time of discussion.
Currently we offer two (2) series from Not Consumed Ministries.
Foundation Series: This is
a good place to start when engaging students about the foundations of the Bible
and the character of God. This series’ topics include God’s Story Old
Testament, God’s Story New Testament, Immeasurable Treasure, Rock of Salvation,
and Strong Roots.
Heart Series: Asks students
to evaluate the nature and character of their own heart and discusses how to
better align it with the heart of God. This is a great series for working on
character development. This series’ topics include A Content Heart, Do Right,
Fruit of the Tongue, Keep Thy Heart, Work Unto the Lord.
Each study has 4 levels of engagement, allowing families to
cater their time in Scripture uniquely to their family. The Primary Level
is for K-2 grade students, with information written to the parents so they can discuss
topics with their students in a language that young children can understand.
Students will draw instead of writing their responses. Junior Level is
for 3-7 grade students and is more independent driven. Students work within
their own personal Bibles and booklet then come back for family discussion
time. Youth Level is for 8-12 grade students; teens work in their own
Bibles and booklets, looking up even more Scripture references and returning
for family discussion. Finally, the Parent Level provides a study guide for
you as the parent to be in the Word right alongside your children.
Whether you are starting your family devotional time
together or looking for a study to add to an established routine within the
Word, the Not Consumed Bible Studies offer something for all families. ~Rebecca
