Memoria
Press Kindergarten curriculum primarily focuses on learning to read. Along with
comprehensive instruction in reading, children learn correct pencil grip,
letter and number formation, and basic arithmetic counting, adding,
subtracting, telling time, and counting money. To start the Memoria Press
Kindergarten program, children should be 4-6 years of age, recognize most
letters, rhyme words, print their name, and be able to count to ten. Please
note, if you would like to complete the Literature & Enrichment portion of
the curriculum, you will need the Memoria Press Kindergarten Read-Aloud books and Supplemental Science & Enrichment titles. These can be purchased as a
set or individually. Many of these titles may be available at your local
library or some might be on your bookshelf already! Be sure to check out the
list of titles at each link.
