Written directly to the student in kid-friendly language, the Financial Lit & Life Skills series from Evan-Moor builds a foundation of good money management. The story-based workbooks teach different concepts through short stories, reflection and response questions, practice problems, puzzles, projects, and games. Kids will not only learn important terminology but see the impact of good money management and apply it to their life. At the beginning of each workbook are some reference pages for kids to use when working out problems, such as a number chart or an overview of decimals. While each workbook covers similar topics, such as earning money, shopping, or banking, each level dives a little deeper into the nuances and complexity of each topic. This program leaves students with a solid grasp on the importance of money management and the tools needed to implement what they learn in their lives.
