BJU Press Spanish 1 Student Edition 4th Edition is the student textbook for the course. The softcover text is full of colorful photos and illustrations. This book appears to be consumable, but it is not. The separate Activities Book has correlated lesson activities and it is certainly meant to be written in. There are 12 chapters to be completed over the course of a traditional school year. QR codes take you right to the audio files for an exercise. Helpful resources in the back include a verb conjugation reference, vocabulary listed by theme, a glossary from Spanish to English and English to Spanish, and an index. 454 pages. ~Sara
