First developed in 2010, this updated study Bible, revised in 2017, is still filled with relevant apologetic questions and helpful resources that diminish stumbling blocks for today’s teens. This is definitely something I will be utilizing with my youth group as my students navigate the waters of addiction, big God questions, and worldly ideologies. Helpful resources included throughout the Bible are colored maps, study notes, personal testimonies, fast facts, challenges & tactics, commonly twisted scriptures, and introductions to each book that give contextual information about the authors, countries, and the world. Challenging talking points scattered throughout the Bible as brief articles cover topics such as: pornography, abortion, rape, incest, transgender and homosexuality questions, wicca, and addictions. It also covers what Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, and Mormons believe. Pages are incredibly thin and will bleed through with highlighting, pens, and pencil use.
