This year-long Old Testament study takes a focused look on the nation of Israel, specifically the Kings who ruled over the united and the divided kingdoms of Israel. Provided is the briefest background information leading up to the story of Samuel the prophet and the anointing of the first king of Israel. From Saul you follow the royal line of succession through the United Kingdom of Israel and into the divisiveness of the royal lines in the divided kingdom of Israel. All this is found in the Student Study Outline, a full-color text tailored to independent learning. Designed as a 4-day/week course, and featuring a spiral learning approach, lessons follow a structure of: prayer; verse memorization, teach, and review (scripture is in the KJV).

This course includes Teacher Editions of the text in full, with helpful teaching guidance's, scope and sequences, answers to the review questions found in the text, tips for quizzes, and daily plans (these daily plans are outlines, not scripted lessons). Also needed for this course are the Student Quizzes/Test booklet, and the Teacher Quiz/Test Key booklet.
