From Marshall Cavendish, the publisher of Primary Math, the Kinder Thinkers series lives up to the Singapore name by teaching beginning math and English con­cepts to early learners - Nursery (3-4 yrs.), K1 (Kindergarten 4-5 years) and K2 (Kindergarten 5-6 years). There are four course/activity books for each level. These books specifically teach early critical thinking skills and how to interact with others, preparing children for their primary education.

Each Course Book is colorful and engaging. Teacher instruction is straightforward. Each unit teaches math or English concepts within the context of a theme. The Activity Books are in black and white and provide practice sheets for each unit.

English teaches letter recognition and sounds, handwriting skills, and vocabulary. Math teaches basic concepts such as count­ing; recognizing and writing numbers; classi­fying, sorting, and comparing; making charts and pictographs; learning patterns and using visual discrimination; and more. It teaches the Singapore monetary system (based on 100 cents/dollar).
