Instead of simple, nothing-can-go-wrong science activities, these Just Add... science and art activity kits encourage students to actually experiment using the scientific method. Everything needed comes in the unique package, except the “just add” component. The small booklet provides directions for multiple experiments, but also encourages adding more or less of certain ingredients to see differences in properties of the finished product. It also suggests different ways to test the products and hypothesize reasons for differences.
