One thing I love about these little specimen sets is that along with the quality specimens, each colorful pouch includes a business card size reference guide that includes the name of the specimen and simple description. For example, in fossils, the card identifies the gastropod as a pink spiral. Rather than offering colorful images, the reference card is black and white with each specimen identified by name in bold with all caps, and the identifying characteristic directly above.
