Each Simply Good and Beautiful homeschool math course develops a basic foundation for math in young students. It provides a perfect balance of enjoyable learning and fun with a variety of unique games and engaging stories.
Lessons are parent-led and will take 30-35 minutes to complete which includes 10-15 minutes of direct teaching time. The full-color Course Book is divided into units with a total of 120 lessons, allowing for additional review or reteaching if needed. Lesson text is printed in two colors: blue for parent notes and black to read to the child. Lessons follow a similar format: review of previous concepts, introduction of a new concept through a short story, and guided activities. Units conclude with an assessment test to ensure children have concept mastery before moving forward. Grade 3 Set includes the All-in-One Course Book, dry erase board, and most manipulatives. Answer Keys, Certificates of Completion, printable flashcards, and printable multiplication worksheets for additional practice are available free at the publisher’s website. Sold as a complete set only.
This full-year course includes both the Math 3 Course Book and the Math 3 Box. The Math Box has been updated and is now a heavy-duty cardboard box with a magnetic (5 ¾” x 5 ¾”). The contents include 2 wooden game pawns, 4 dice, 1 measuring tape, a laminated card with an array mat on one side and a calendar and weather template on the other, and tangrams.
