It may not sound like it at first, but this is a game about economics. Each player, at their turn, must choose 1 action: buy, swap or sell ingredient cards. They may also craft potions during their turn. The ingredient market consists of 6 sealed vials of colored glitter, each representing a component: red dragon scales, orange phoenix feathers, yellow orc teeth, green kraken tentacles, blue mermaid tears, and purple pixie powder. The vials sit on a plastic ramp (the value track) with the cost of each element assigned to a position. The game includes 66 ingredient cards, 20 potion cards, 6 supply shift cards, 4 reference cards and heavy cardboard coins in 3 values (1, 5, 10). You want to buy ingredients to make potions, then sell them. The value track can shift and the game changes. The player with the highest value in coins at the end wins.
