The workbook coordinates with the video lessons. Ideally, the student and teacher would look at the worksheet before viewing the video for that day's lesson. Worksheets are used sequentially with some lessons being completed in one day and some being split into multiple days (for instance, Lesson 1A, 1B, 1C). Scheduling is simple – just play the video for the next lesson in the workbook. Worksheet clarity is good; the examples and directions are clear, and the assignment is focused on the topic at hand.

This
course effectively prepares students for college-level compositions, including assignments
like literary responses, persuasive essays, and completing a timed essay, and the
course finishes with a research paper. Daily instruction is provided via online
streaming (codes are sent to your email after orders are processed). This
instruction provides detailed direction in bite-sized pieces. Grading rubrics
provide student and teacher guidance in composing and in evaluating writing.
Students start with sentence construction and quickly move to paragraph and
essay construction. The complete course is purchased as a bundle set, which
includes streaming video, a spiral-bound student text, and an online textbook. Digital
components are not returnable. Additional consumable student workbooks are
available separately.
