Description

This book, along with the online portion and answer key, is essential to this course. Students are expected to complete all exercises completely in French, however, there are still instructions in English for clarity. There are 12 lessons, each with vocabulary, grammar, and review at the end. Each lesson has a geographical theme, highlighting a francophone country (sometimes several countries). Students will use the video lessons as they complete this book. Dialogues will get more complicated as your student’s vocabulary improves. You can see the grammar taught in the table of contents. If a student/parent had the inclination, this level could be split into a 3rd and 4th year language on a high school transcript based on the content your student will study. Handy verb charts in the back are a quick reference, and dictionary pages that are both French to English and English to French will get lots of use. ~Sara
