Ok, these are really cool! It is a set of clear plastic 3D geometric shapes (cube is the largest at 3 in. x 3 in. x 3 in., rectangular pyramid is the smallest at 1.75 in. x 2 in. x3 in.) Each shape has a lid on one side and inside is a colored vinyl 2D shape (red/orange/yellow/green/blue.) If you have a student that is having a hard time translating from 2D to 3D and recognizing the base shapes, simply pop out the inside folded net and lay it out flat, this is just what you need! Show them that a cylinder is made up of 2 circles and a rectangle. Great for the hands-on learner or for any lesson on geometry, angles, area, volume, etc. They are really sturdy, so a nice manipulative for a group or classroom too, and come in a storage box.
