You face Lord Overkill, a supernatural being, but your skill as a player goes far beyond sleight of hand. Channel your magic through poker moves to eliminate Lord Overkill's minions one by one and descend into Hell itself to duel the monster who ruined your life.
Designed by Benjamín Amorín and illustrated by David Rubín, one of Spain's most internationally renowned artists, Ace of Spades is a single-player game, or a two-player game if you prefer cooperative play, that uses poker mechanics to resolve perilous duels against the worst spawn of Hell. Set in a wild American West with demonic creatures, this game offers varying levels of difficulty and even a series of challenges to overcome, beyond simply winning.
In Ace of Spades, you'll have to defeat 12 enemies of increasing difficulty. You'll have a limited number of moves to defeat each enemy, but some of them, once defeated, will grant you powerful abilities. To win each duel, you'll have to play combinations with a classic French deck (but specially illustrated for this game) and make poker plays. A pair will inflict one point of damage, but if you manage to form a straight flush, your shot will cause 10 hits at once.
