Offering six weeks of daily devotions, read-alouds, memory verse practice, and a variety of hands-on activities, the guide is open-and-go with parent scripting, which frees up more time to enjoy studying along with your children! At the beginning of each week, a one-page grid lays out the weekly schedule, which lists the Scripture reading and recommended literature. Activities are then listed with time to be set aside each day to work on them. Three activities are listed and include a watercolor painting, craft activity, and a recipe. While it is best to complete all three, families are encouraged to pick what is best for their families. Unlike Simple Autumn and Simple Winter, this guide is for slightly older children (up through fifth grade), which allows for more challenging, age-appropriate activities. Weekly memory verses (ESV) are also included. You will also need to supply various craft and recipe supplies, as well as watercolor paints, brushes, and paper.
