Description

Perfect for those with little to no crochet experience, this DIY Hide & Seek Crack the Egg Crochet kit is a great place to start with crochet projects! This kit makes a little bird and an egg for it to hide inside and is left-handed friendly! Not only does this kit include an instruction pamphlet to make the featured patterns, but it also includes access to instructional videos, which is great for visual learners and beginners! Everything needed to get started is included, such as the yarn, poly fill, safety eyes, 3mm crochet hook, 2 plastic stitch markers, and plastic yarn needles. The yarn used is premium “AHA!” yarn, which is not only soft and high quality, but it is also easy for beginners to see their stitches clearly. If you get stuck at any point in the project, the Dido Craftworks company offers a team of people during office hours to give assistance in real time. This set is recommended for those ages 13 and older, although younger audiences with crochet experience may also be able to complete these projects.

For people with no prior crochet experience, the instruction manual will be hard to follow since it is filled with just written crochet terminology. Please make sure to watch the video tutorial by going to the Dido Craftworks website, finding the tutorials section, select the project you have, and then type in the redemption code. No account needed as users can view the video as a “guest”. There is also a right-handed or left-handed video. The video shows how to make the entire project all the way through in real time against a green background. The video does not cut or speed up clips.

Also, on their website for beginners, a tab called Learn to Crochet includes more in-depth video tutorials for the basic crochet terms such as slipknot, chain making, single crochet, and more! Right-handed and left-handed versions available.
