The element pieces include the main element groups as one piece rather than having each individual element as its own piece. Also included on separate magnet pieces are the 9 group titles. Inside the tri-fold magnet book, there is a blank outline of the entire periodic table (which includes select element hints), as well as a blank space to match the element group with its title. The back cover shows a correctly filled out periodic table, as well as a color-code key for group titles. The magnetic aspect of this item not only allows this product to be used and studied again and again, but also helps keep all of the pieces together when not in use. A supplement like this would be super helpful for visual and multisensory learners of any age. I really could have benefited from the use of something like this in high school.
