Students can manipulate the colorful magnetic squares to visualize the relationship between fractions and wholes, turning abstract math into a hands-on experience. Plus, the double-sided, color-coded squares have percentages on the other side to help students understand the relationships between fractions and percentages. Each piece is fully magnetic, attaching securely to whiteboards, metal cabinets, and other magnetic surfaces without sliding down. The pieces are large enough to be seen across the classroom, yet small enough for children to manipulate easily. The set includes 51 pieces representing whole, halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, eighths, tenths, and twelfths, and the color coding matches many of our other fraction products. The whole square measures 6.5 inches by 6.5 inches. These magnetic fraction squares work well as fraction manipulatives, magnetic fractions, and hands on math tools for whole-class demonstrations, math centers, or independent practice.
