Description

Swoop into math with All About Math Level 4! Multisensory, conceptual, customizable, and just plain fun! Together with Oxley the Owl, students learn math through engaging, multi-sensory lessons. Level 4 builds on the previous levels and is heavy on conceptual understanding. Some concepts taught in this level include adding and subtracting fractions; decimals; multi-digit multiplication and division; lines, line segments, and rays; measuring angles; and more. Materials include a Teacher’s Manual and Student Packet.

The Teacher’s Manual includes 42 open-and-go scripted lessons. Spending about 20 minutes a day on math is the recommendation, so lessons will take more than a day to complete. Teacher involvement is still high at this level because of the games and the multisensory aspect of the program.

The Student Packet includes Swoop into Math Activity Book, Oxley’s Math Tools (cardstock manipulatives, including lots of fraction tools, number lines, dot paper, elapsed time clock, classifying shapes cards, and more), and themed stickers. Games, worksheets, and other activities help kids retain new concepts and stay engaged in their learning. Every new concept learned includes an Oxley Math Fun! game. Students also encounter lots of word problems through fun, real-life application activities.

One manipulative kit used for all grade levels is available to purchase separately. Students will also need a small dry erase board with markers. ~ Gina
